పుల్లారెడ్డి స్వీట్స్ యజమాని జి.రాఘవరెడ్డి, ఆయన భార్య భారతి రెడ్డి, వారి కుమార్తె శ్రీవిద్యారెడ్డిల నుంచి తనను కాపాడాలంటూ ఆ ఇంటికోడలు ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డి భారత రాష్ట్రపతి ద్రౌపది ముర్ముకు లేఖ రాశారు. రాఘవరెడ్డి, భారతిరెడ్డి, శ్రీవిద్యారెడ్డి  గత రెండేళ్లుగా తనను, తన ఎనిమిదేళ్ల కుమార్తెను తీవ్ర వేధింపులకు గురిచేస్తున్నారని ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డి ఆరోపించారు. వారు గతంలో తనను వరకట్నం కోసం హింసించారని, తనను గదిలోంచి బయటికి రానివ్వకుండా రాత్రికి రాత్రే గోడ కట్టేశారని వివరించారు. కోర్టు స్పందించి, ఆ గోడ కూల్చేయాలని చెప్పిందని ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డి వివరించారు. అంతేకాదు, వారు తనను, తన కుమార్తెను చంపేందుకు ప్రయత్నించారని తన లేఖలో ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తన అత్త భారతిరెడ్డిపై హైదరాబాదులో భూకబ్జా కేసులు కూడా ఉన్నాయని వెల్లడించారు. ఓ మహిళగా సాటి మహిళ వేదనను అర్థం చేసుకుంటారన్న ఆలోచనతో మీకు ఈ లేఖ రాస్తున్నాను... నాకు, నా బిడ్డకు న్యాయం చేయండి అంటూ ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డి రాష్ట్రపతి ద్రౌపది ముర్ముకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. 

పుల్లారెడ్డి స్వీట్స్ వ్యవస్థాపకుడు జి.పుల్లారెడ్డి వారసుడిగా ఆయన కుమారుడు జి.రాఘవరెడ్డి పుల్లారెడ్డి గ్రూప్ వ్యవహారాలు చూసుకుంటున్నారు. ఆయన కుమారుడు ఏక్ నాథ్ రెడ్డికి 2014లో ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డితో వివాహం జరిగింది. ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డి తండ్రి కేఆర్ఎం రెడ్డి మైనింగ్ వ్యాపారంలో ఉన్నారు. పెళ్లి తర్వాత కొంతకాలానికే ఏక్ నాథ్ రెడ్డి, ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డిల మధ్య విభేదాలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి. భర్త, అత్తమామలు వేధింపులకు గురిచేస్తున్నాంటూ ప్రజ్ఞారెడ్డి గతంలోనే పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. అప్పట్లో పుల్లారెడ్డి కుటుంబ సభ్యులపై పంజాగుట్ట పీఎస్ లో గృహహింస చట్టం కింద కేసు కూడా నమోదైంది.
